Outdoor Shoots
Our Club house and grounds are located at Lake Glenbawn with over 50 acres of beautiful bush available for our archers.
Once a month we hold a 3D outdoor shoot which involves friendly competition in small groups aiming at various 3-dimensional artificial animal targets with two 10 target rounds at our club grounds. Shoot groups move along safe marked paths to each shooting peg according to their own age and archery equipment used. Each person shoots one arrow at the target before the group moves to that target to score the arrows, remove them from the target before walking on to the next target. Family groups and novices are encouraged to come along and the day's competition usually ends with bringing in targets before a barbecue lunch and a few stories of the day's shooting.
